standard operating procedures

Summary
As each joint activity may be led by different partner organizations, it is critical that standards and standardized processes exist. The Standard Operating Procedures are a set of agreed templates that can be use to run the activity. The SOPs will consist of the following elements at the onset: -A procedure describing the design and implementation of calls and other types of activities  -A template to be used for all call texts with standard sections to be completed by the coordinator of each call.  -A procedure that will include guidelines for applicants and reviewers  -Guidelines for the peer review committee set up and process to be used by the committee including determining ranking of projects.  -Procedures for monitoring activities funded under this WP  -A procedure that will describe the evaluation system (criteria, review panel), to be developed in close collaboration with those responsible for WP6. WP6 (monitoring and evaluation) does not have responsibility for the monitoring and evaluation of individual projects but may want to ensure that appropriate information is captured by projects for use in future evaluations (impact assessment)  -Templates for agreements on administrative and governance issues
