Summary
Divided into two parts: A) Using multivariate regression analysis and multilevel/hierarchical models, existing European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERICs, SHARE) will be leveraged to analyze i) how cognitive performance and risks of depression and anxiety differ by socioeconomic status (SES), gender and age, ii) how these patterns differ across regions/countries, and iii) the extent to which the cognitive outcomes are associated with differences in health and everyday functioning. B) Based on results from task A, population-covering
administrative register data from Scandinavian countries will be used to corroborate the real-world relevance of these findings
