IBV is a private non-profit technology centre based in Valencia (Spain). We started activity in 1976 and currently we are a team of 164 professionals with varied background. In 2014-2019, we have collaborated in 40 EU projects (€6 million of EU funding) in Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, EIT Health, COSME, etc.

Main IBV's knowledge fields are: (1) Biomechanics of human body systems, (2) 3D anthropometrics, (3) Human factors & Interfaces design, (4) Human movements & Biomechanical evaluation, and (5) Human needs and preferences.

Main IBV's facilities are: Experience Laboratory (Living Lab), Laboratory of 4D Anthropometry, Movement Analysis Laboratory, Ergonomics Laboratory, Climatic Comfort Laboratory, Biological Laboratory, Rabbit stabling & Operating Theatre, Mechanical Testing Laboratory, Driving Simulator, etc.
