Advanced control system for energy efficient biological nitrogen removal

Discussion on options and performances of advanced control systems for biological nitrogen removal after advanced primary treatment. The process control options will be described (SBR aeration cycle, feeding strategy, bypass of raw wastewater, dynamic chemical dosing, return of sludge supernatant, alternative carbon source).
