"2nd symposium ""Disruption and violence"" to be held in Santander, Spain"

SY2 will discuss: a) the first draft with maps and the chronology of revolts in the metropolitan societies and colonies of the two Iberian monarchies; b) representative case studies on leadership, forms of organisation and mobilisation of riots and uprisings in public spaces carried out by individuals and social groups from the lower echelons of society; c) the construction of a memory of resistance and its instrumentalisation in later rebellions.
