"6th symposium ""Political participation, protest and accomodation"" to be held in Lisbon, Portugal"

The aim of SY6 is to highlight forms of protest that took place within the institutional structure of the Iberian monarchies and to evaluate their effectiveness. Political participation is not necessarily considered as implying attitudes of conformity with dominant value frameworks, while it may have provided opportunities for demands to be voiced, and also networking and negotiation. Case studies will enable us to evaluate the performative potential of these experiences
